Why Hampden Charter School of Science?

HCSS offers a unique learning experience with a small school community and class size, extended math and science curriculum, individualized attention through teacher-led and peer-to-peer tutoring programs, and university outreach programs. Students are challenged, inspired, motivated, stretched, and supported at HCSS. In science, math, the humanities, and art, HCSS students are encouraged and guided to explore every topic to the greatest depth possible. In this way, HCSS students are thoroughly prepared for each subject area they will encounter in college or university.
